Report: Woman attacked husband for passing gas in bed

Police in Florida arrested a woman for allegedly hitting and scratching her husband because he kept passing gas in bed, according to a report.

Court documents show that Dawn Meikle, of Port St. Lucie, elbowed her husband around 3:20 a.m. December 11 at their home, Off the Beat reported. An affidavit states that Meikle kicked her husband out of bed but when he got back in he passed more gas and she kicked and elbowed him.

Her husband told authorities that he restrained his wife and her lip got split open and he got scratches on his chest.

Meikle faces a misdemeanor battery charge.
