The number of U.S. military service members injured since the start of Overseas Operations in July has risen to 406, according to the latest Pentagon Defense Casualty Analysis System report.
The number of U.S. service members killed remains at 4.
In July, the Pentagon added a new "Overseas Operations" category for casualties from July 7 following the White House announcement on May 5 that Operation Epic Fury had concluded following the establishment of regional ceasefires and operational shifts.

The Pentagon says three U.S. Army soldiers were killed in action in July during an Iranian missile and drone attack at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan.

Swinton was assigned to D Battery, 2nd Battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
