MTA bus hangs off overpass near NYC's Henry Hudson Parkway, sends debris below

The FDNY responded on Friday morning after an MTA bus was hanging off an overpass near New York City's Henry Hudson Parkway.

What we know:

SkyFOX was over the scene in the Spuyten Duyvil section of the Bronx, where debris was seen on the roadway below. It's a service road adjacent to the parkway, just around a half block off of Independence Avenue.

Dozens of firefighters were on scene near Kappock Street around 9 a.m. Citizen App video showed a shot from the road below, where the front of the bus was seen hanging off the overpass, with debris on the street.

According to witnesses, the driver seemed to be struggling with a turn, trying to avoid a parked car they say was making the turn even more difficult. That's when they say the driver lost control and barreled into the guardrail.

The driver was the only person onboard. There were no other injuries to report.
