Crash on FDR Drive: Driver killed, passenger injured after collision and ejection
NEW YORK CITY - A driver was killed, and a passenger injured, after a Tesla collided with a guardrail on NYC's FDR Drive, ejecting both passengers, the NYPD said.

What we know:
According to investigators, a white Tesla with two passengers was heading northbound on the FDR Drive around 2:44 a.m. when it collided with a guardrail on the Upper East Side.

The vehicle then flipped over, ejecting both the female driver and 26-year-old male passenger. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian | Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
