Museum of Ice Cream opening in Meatpacking District

The people behind the Museum of Ice Cream get it: we all scream for ice cream!

The pop-up museum will open in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan on July 29 and tickets are already sold out for many time slots.

Ice cream obsessed designers and artists have helped create the "lick-able, like-able, shareable ice cream-centric experience."

Running through August 31 only, the museum will feature a swimable rainbow 'sprinkle' pool, edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room and a massive ice cream sundae.

Admission for one adult plus ice cream will run you $18. Children under 10 and Senior Citizens (plus ice cream) costs $12.
