Rocko is two years old and he stands at 40 inches...

But get this. He’s more than 7 feet tall on his back legs...

Rocko's owners say he's still growing and might break the previous record.

Right now, he's just four inches off from a tie!

The family is made a bid to the Guinness Book of World Records to document Rocko as the tallest living dog..

 It will take about 12 weeks before the couple finds out if Rocko made it into the book of world records.
