Hollis, Queens shooting leaves person critically injured: NYPD

A shooting in Queens has left a person critically injured, police said.

When did the shooting happen?

What we know:

FOX 5 NY's Dan Rice said the call came at around 4:40 p.m. on Monday of a person shot on 86th Drive in Hollis.

The view from SkyFOX shows a cone inside the building and some outside. FOX 5 NY's Dan Rice said that detectives were seen on the rooftop.

The person who is critically injured has been taken to an area hospital. 

The suspect is still on the loose.

No arrests have been made. 

What we don't know:

The circumstances around the shooting are not known at this time.

The name of the person in critical condition has not been released.
