Gun found in woman's private area

Police in Waco retrieved a loaded gun from a woman’s vagina Monday night following a drug bust, The Waco Tribune-Herald reports.

Gabriel Garcia, 30, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine in a drug-free zone after he was pulled over for a traffic violation.

The arrest came after police found 2.7 grams of methamphetamine under the seat of the vehicle Garcia was driving.

Additionally, nearly 30 grams of meth and a set of digital weighing scales were found in the purse of Garcia’s passenger, 31-year-old Ashley Cecilia Castaneda.

Castaneda was arrested on the same charge, and as she was being taken to jail, she told an officer that she had a loaded .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun in her vagina.

A female officer was called and retrieved the gun.

Castaneda now faces an additional charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon.
