The smell of two dozen cupcakes in a baker's SUV was too much for a black bear in New Jersey.

The bear smashed a back window of the vehicle and left only smeared icing and a paw print behind.

Christine Allen owns the Mo'Pweeze Bakery in Denville.  She says the bear ate every single chocolate, vanilla and strawberry cupcake that she had made for a large order.

Rockaway Township Police Lt. Peter Reilly says it looks like the bear has done some other damage in the area and breaking into a car raises concern. Police have notified wildlife officials.

"I do not, in any way, want this animal to be harmed," Allen tells Fox5NY.com.  "I just want my family to be safe."

And Allen is a good sport about the whole incident even though her SUV was damaged.  She made bear cupcakes in honor of the bruin at her shop that specializes in allergen free and vegan products. %INLINE%

In a post on the bakery's Facebook page she wrote:  "Mr. Bear could not be reached for comment on which flavor he liked best, he just ate them all!"
