Amber Alert for kidnapped infant

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - An Amber Alert has been issued for a kidnapped 2-day-old New York girl.

The New York State Amber Alert was issued by the Walton Police Department.  The abduction took place near North St. at about 3:00 a.m. on Friday.

The child is a white female.  The child's name is unknown.

The suspects are Michael Hazen, 39.  He is white, 5' 11" and 215 pounds and Edna Cering, 33.  She is approximately 5'3: tall and weighs about 160 pounds.  They were driving a Green 4-door sedan Pontiac G6 with NY license plate GMB3617.

Officials warn that the child may be in need of immediate medical care.

Police say the mother has an extensive history of drug use and was wanted by parole officials.
