2 dead after SUV crashes into water in New Rochelle

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Two people are dead after an SUV crashed through a barrier and plunged into the water in New Rohelle.

It happaned at Hudson Park Road and Hudson Park and Beach in the afternoon on Tuesday. It was unclear what happened before the accident.

One victim was removed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital, where they died. Another victim was found still inside the vehicle after crews pulled it from the water.
