The Taylor Swift Experience

Regardless of what you might think of Taylor Swift's music, it's hard to ignore her accomplishments as a musician, especially when you check out the Taylor Swift Experience at the Grammy Museum.

From 1989 to 2016, mementos from every stage of Swift's impressive career are within reach at the new exhibit in the South Street Seaport.

Grammy Museum curator Nwaka Onwusa worked hand-in-hand with Swift to assemble the collection.  The first floor features Swift's glamorous gowns, instruments, Grammy awards, and rare items like handwritten lyrics and her very first press kit. Upstairs fans can relive the milestones along Swift's rise to super stardom.

The enthusiasm here is truly infectious; a testament to Swift's commitment to her fans.

The Grammy Museum rarely features living legends this young. Taylor's relationship with her fans is reflected here in handmade tokens.

The exhibit is very interactive. You can actually hop into a booth and record your own versions of Swift songs.

The Taylor Swift Experience is open through mid-February.
