Teens wanted for string of violent iPhone robberies

Police in New York are looking for a group of teens wanted for a string of violent robberies.  At least four Bronx robberies over the past two months have been linked to the six teens.

The first incident took place on Friday, December 14, 2018 in the area of Bronxwood Avenue and Pelham Parkway North.  The 19-year-old victim was walking when he was approached by a group of males who assaulted him then took his iPhone, wallet and backpack before running away. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The next attack took place on Friday, January, 18, 2019 at 9:45 p.m. at Esplanade Avenue and Pelham Parkway North.  The 17-year-old victim was walking when he was approached by a group of males who assaulted him then took his iPhone, jacket, wallet and backpack before taking off.  The victim sustained minor injuries.

Another incident took place on Monday, January 28, 2019 just after midnight.  The 22-year-old victim was approached in the area of Wallace Avenue and Pelham Parkway South.  The teens assaulted him then took his iPhone before running away. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The most recent attack took place on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 11:57 p.m., in the area of Bogart Avenue and Pelham Parkway South.  The 35-year-old victim was approached by a group of males who assaulted him then took his wallet and iPhone before running away.  The vicitm sustained minor injuries.

The persons wanted for questioning are described as male Blacks and Hispanics, approximately 15-18 years old, 5'7" to 5'10" tall.
