Shooting survivor reunites with cops who saved him

A livery cab driver who was shot several times and survived has been reunited with the cops who saved his life. The cabbie brought flowers to the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx on Wednesday to show his appreciation.

It was an emotional reunion with hugs, flowers, and tears of joy. Jeffery Cisneros Camacho, 26, thanked God and his two angels—Police Officers Sean Higgins and Jennifer Nicalek—for saving his life.

On March 17 Jeffery, a father of three, was robbed and shot eight times while on the job. Somehow Jeffery got the strength and was able to drive a block where he spotted a police car. Higgins and Nicalek stood by him until the ambulance arrived.

No one thought he would live to tell the story. Indeed, Jeffery said the cops are his angels and heroes.

He told Fox 5 that he doesn't know if he'll ever go back to being a cab driver. His priority right now is his health.

The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers set up a GoFundMe page to help Jeffery and his family.
