Rapper Fetty Wap suffers broken leg in Paterson crash

Rapper Fetty Wap was injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday.  His injuries were considered non-lifethreatening and he was released from the hospital the following day.

Rapper and Paterson, NJ, native Fetty Wap took to Instagram Monday to update his fans on his health following a motorcycle crash in his hometown over the weekend. "I broke my leg in three places," says Wap in a video. 

 

 

The crash remains under investigation and no summonses have been issued. The woman driving the car was not injured, and her name has not been released.

Wap, 25, who was born Willie Maxwell, has had a lot of success in the past year with three top-10 songs, including the hit "Trap Queen," which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

His debut album, "Fetty Wap," was released Friday.
