Preview: 'Loving'

Richard and Mildred Loving were only married for five weeks when they were arrested in their bedroom in 1958. Interracial marriage was against the law in the state of Virginia and 23 other states at that time.

Their love story would eventually reach the U.S. Supreme Court, which would rule those segregation laws unconstitutional.

This Friday the Lovings' story hits theaters with actress Ruth Negga starring as Mildred Loving alongside Joel Edgerton as Richard Loving.

We spoke with Ruth and Terri Abney, who stars as Mildred's sister, about the Loving legacy.

"Loving" presents an essential and often overlooked chapter in our American history and one of the most profound love stories ever told on film.

Don't miss this one. It is in theaters Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, and is a must-see for every American.
