NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Police in New York are looking for help to find a man wanted for the rape of a teenager in a Brooklyn basement.
Police say it happened on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at approximately 10:00 a.m. The man entered the basement of a building located at 66 Kingston Ave. and proceeded to forcibly rape the girl.
They have finally been able to identify the man they are looking for. They say he is 41-year-old Cleveland Broadnax.
The NYPD says the man is known to frequent New York City as well as the state of Georgia.
Police ask that anyone with information in regard to the whereabouts of Broadnax is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
