Man shoots sons, kills self after argument

Police on Long Island say a man shot his two adult sons and then killed himself after an argument at a party.

Suffolk County Police say it happened at a home in Bellport on Sunday night.  Irvin Noak, 61,  became involved in an argument with family members in his Fox Glove Circle home.  His two adult sons, who also live at the home, tried to break it up.

Police say Noak went to his bedroom, got a gun and shot his two sons. He then turned the gun on himself.

An ambulance took Noak to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue but it was too late.

The sons, Irvin Noak III, 30, and Aaron Noak, 22, were taken to the same hospital in critical condition.

There were other family members in the home at the time of the shooting but no one else was hurt.
