NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A 60-year-old woman was dragged for approximately one block by a vehicle near the Queens Midtown Tunnel, said police.
The woman, now listed in critical but stable condition with a leg injury at Bellevue Hospital, was struck by a minivan as she crossed East 38th Street at about 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
After she became dislodged near East 37th St., the driver of the vehicle is seen in surveillance camera footage driving against the flow of traffic and getting out of the minivan to move traffic cones.
He is seen getting back into the late-model, dark Toyota Sienna with NY plates. He heads east along East. 37th Street.
