Foxes steal newspapers from neighborhood

Residents in one North Carolina community have been wondering what has been happening to their morning newspapers.

Another man was wondering why a bunch were showing up in his Winston-Salem backyard every day for the past few weeks.

"I was looking out our picture window which over looks the back and saw something back there, and walked back there and there were like five or six newspapers. We had received ours that morning," homeowner James Eubanks says.

That wasn't the only thing he found.

"They delivered the yellow page phone books and the very next morning there were nine of those laying in that back area," Eubanks says.

So he set up a nightvision camera.  That's how he caught an unexpected culprit in the act... a fox.

"It clearly shows him with a newspaper," Eubanks says.  "Without the pictures no one would believe it."

He thinks there are at least three, maybe more, of the foxes.

As for why it's going on, he jokes "Since its newspapers, it must be Fox News."
