Trucks collide shutting down Route 17

All lanes of northbound and southbound Route 17 reopened hours after two trucks collided in Paramus, New Jersey at the start of the Wednesday morning commute.

One of the trucks spilled the steal beams that it was transporting at about 6 a.m., striking the driver of another vehicle.

At least one person was rushed from the scene by ambulance. The condition of that individual is unclear.

Motorists and NJ Transit bus passengers were advised to avoid the area due to massive delays.
