2 shot at Brooklyn subway station

NEW YORK (AP) — Police say two people have been shot at a subway station in Brooklyn.

It happened about 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Fulton Street/Utica Avenue train station in Bedford Stuyvesant.

Police say one man was found on the staircase. He was hospitalized in critical condition.

The condition and location of the other person shot was not immediately known.

Police say they are searching for a suspect who fled on Atlantic Avenue.

The MTA says A and C trains are temporarily bypassing Utica Avenue in both directions.
