'Brandless Pop-Up with Purpose' coming to NYC

Labeling is disabling.  It’s a line Tina Sharkey’s mother used to use, and it could very well be the slogan for Tina’s company, Brandless.

Brandless is an e-commerce startup that’s trying to make better everything for everyone, Tina says, starting with the things you reach for everyday whether those things are organic, gluten-free, vegan, you name it.  Everything they sell at Brandless is just $3.

Tina started Brandless 15 months ago in San Francisco and has raised nearly $300 million in funding to get it off the ground.

Born and raised in NYC, Tina’s bringing Brandless back to New York for the first time, with her Pop-Up with Purpose at the Milk Building in the Meatpacking through November 4.

At the Brandless Pop-Up, you can have a cup of Fair Trade coffee, taste organic olive oil, or test out their lemon verbena hand cream, which is completely clean with no phthalates or sulfates.

And be sure to try the snacks.

Their snack sampler has everything from roasted salted almonds to toasted coconut cookie thins and gummy fish.

The only things you can buy in the pop-up are the Best of Brandless Bundle and Brandless t-shirts.

Everything else is available exclusively online.

But there are endless opportunities to taste, try things out, and post for a good cause.

The Brandless Pop-Up with Purpose has plenty of spots designed for selfies, and even shoefies, because, as Tina says, New Yorkers have the best shoe game.

Anytime you take a photo and post it with #brandlesslife , Brandless will donate a meal in your honor through Feeding America.

Brandless also donates a meal for every purchase you make online, and has already donated 3 million meals to people in need.

The Brandless Pop-Up with Purpose is open from 9am to 7pm daily through November 4th, at the Milk Building: 451 W. 14th Street, New York, NY 10014.
