Nick Gregory's snowfall potentials for Feb. 16-17.

Areas in and around New York City got about a half a foot of snow in a quick snowstorm.   About 4 inches of snow fell in New York City.  Areas of New Jersey saw more.  Franklin Lakes saw more than 8 inches from the overnight storm.

Coastal areas were expected to get less because the snow mixed with rain for periods.

There were warnings that the snow is expected to heavier and wetter because of the warmer temperatures which could lead to branches coming down on power lines.

Temperatures are expected to rebound later in the day on Sunday with highs in the upper 40s and touching 50 for the holiday on Monday.
