NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police in New York City say they have made an arrest in the case of a woman who yelled anti-white slurs to a woman while hitting her in the face with a large metal make-up box.
It happened Thursday May 31, 2018 just before noon in front of 77 Warren Street in the Tribeca section of Manhattan.
Police say that Amy Bell, 37, hit the 57-year-old female victim in the face with a large metal box she was carrying and reportedly yelled "White b****, take that!" before taking off westbound on Warren Street.
The victim and Bell reportedly did not interact before the attack. The victim suffered a laceration to her face and was treated at NYU Langone Medical Center. Bell, who lives in Brooklyn, is charged with assault, aggravated harassment and harassment.
