Arun Kristian Das is a senior digital content creator for FOX5NY.com.
He joined WNYW/FOX 5 in December 2001 as a newsroom trainee and subsequently served as a news assistant, field producer, newswriter, copy editor, and web producer.
Arun holds an M.S. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and has also worked in newspaper, magazine, and book publishing.
A slow but enthusiastic runner, Arun has completed dozens of races, including three marathons, and coaches runners of different abilities.
He volunteers with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he serves on the national staff.
Arun grew up in New York City and Rome, Italy. He and his wife, Erin, a professor and clinical social worker, now live in New Jersey with their tortie cat.
