One of the Arizona Cardinals' most prominent pass-catchers was arrested for DUI. Michael Floyd was booked into jail by Scottsdale Police after they saw him stopped in the street at Camelback Road and Goldwater, right by Scottsdale Fashion Center.

Police say Floyd was passed out with his vehicle's engine running and his foot was on the brake at the intersection.

Floyd faces two counts of DUI, one count of obstructing a roadway and failure to obey a police officer.

Authorities say an officer on routine patrol noticed Floyd unconscious behind the wheel of his black Cadillac Escalade at 2:45 a.m. on Monday.

"Our first concern is it is an indication somebody had too much to drink if they sit through a couple lights if it is not a mechanical issue," said Officer Kevin Watts.

Police arrested Floyd and booked him into Scottsdale City Jail. They got a search warrant and took a sample of his blood to see if he was legally impaired, then released him around 5:00 a.m.

Cardinals' Coach Bruce Arians was dismayed to learn of Floyd's arrest.

"Yeah, we always talk about not being the guy and making correct decisions.. get info today and tomorrow what was done and what will be done," he said.

Teammates also reacted to the news.

"I hope he is okay. Mike is a great guy.. haven't talked to him yet, but Mike is a great teammate," said Calais Campbell.

Frostee Rucker added, "It is unfortunate, he will learn from it.. he is a good kid and I wish him all the best."

Floyd was also arrested by police for DUI back in 2011 while he was a student at the University of Notre Dame. In that case, his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

Floyd, who Coach Arians says has had an inconsistent year on the field, is in more trouble off it.
