Trendy temporary tattoos for adults

Image 1 of 2

Tattly Parlor is a pop-up store for temporary tattoos in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. It has over 600 designs. Now if you're someone like me who is afraid of getting a tattoo because of the pain this is your place. They aren't permanent and within a few days it's all gone.

It has a look and feel of an authentic tattoo shop, just that here they apply your tattoo with water and a sponge. They last up to five days.

These tattoos aren't like the ones you are used to seeing in your cereal box. The designs are licensed from well-known professional artists, designers, painters and illustrators.

Tina Roth-Eisenberg started Tattly Tattoos in 2011. Almost 5 years later she has 12 full-time people working for her company and says it has created a new market for temporary tattoos. On busy weekends they can see up to 150 people of all ages.

They cost $5 or $6 and the artist gets a cut when one of their designs is sold.

This set up here will no longer stand after February 28. But no worries, because if you go to tattly.com you can always schedule an appointment and get a tattoo like mine.
