Snowstorm could hit New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Forecasters say another snowstorm is headed toward New Jersey.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for south Jersey on Tuesday, when 4 to 8 inches could fall. A winter weather advisory was issued for central Jersey, where 2 to 5 inches was expected.

Forecasters also warned the coast flooding could continue in some areas.

The snow could start falling as early as late Monday night and could continue on and off until early Wednesday. But it's still not clear when the heaviest bands of snow may fall.

Authorities warn that travel conditions could be treacherous in some areas on Tuesday, so motorists were being urged to allow extra travel time or avoid travel if possible.
