Woman wounded by shooting suspect who fled on scooter

Police are seeking a man wanted for shooting a woman in New York City before fleeing the scene on an electric scooter.

The New York Police Department released a video Monday showing footage of a man they believe to be the suspect on his scooter. Police say the suspect shot a 26-year-old woman in the arm as she was exiting a cab, then fled on an electric scooter.

She is recovering and is expected to be OK.

Police say the woman was not the intended target.Individual wanted for questioning is described as a male Hispanic who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was riding an electric scooter.
