Serial spitter on the loose in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Someone is going around Prospect-Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn and spitting at people.

The incidents started around Thanksgiving in the area of Flatbush Ave. and Lincoln Road.

The spitter's gross behavior was first reported on a Facebook page popular among residents of the Brooklyn neighborhood and then reported by DNAInfo.com.

According to online posts, there have been at least six incidents of the man approaching people including parents walking with a child and spitting in their faces with little to no warning.

The person is described as someone in his 20s or 30s who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt at the time of incidents.
