SEC guard shoots man at Union Station
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A private security guard who works for the Securities and Exchange Commission shot and killed a knife-wielding man at Union Station in Washington, DC, Friday. The guard said he saw the man stabbing a woman and then chased him, according to police.
The station was briefly evacuated while police investigated what happened. Photos shared on social media from outside the station showed a heavy police presence. At about 1 pm., Washington, DC's Metropolitan Police tweeted that there was no active shooter situation.
The condition of the woman who was stabbed was not known.
