Rare white Bengal tiger cubs born in Crimea zoo

Zoo workers in Crimea are having to hand-feed three baby white Bengal tiger cubs after their mother rejected them.

The rare white Bengal tiger cubs are all boys, and were named after the Three Muskateers Athos, Aramis, and Porthos. They were born at a zoo on the Crimean Peninusla in Ukraine.

The cubs' mother, named Tigryulia, is the only living tiger in Ukraine. But after giving birth to three of the rarest Tiger species in the world, Tigryulia refuses to feed them.

Without their mother to provide milk, zoo workers have taken on the role. The cubs were taken a nursery with some recently born lion cubs, where workers bottle-feed them.

"Despite the fact that (their) mother refused to feed them, our employees are taking care of them, the cubs eat well and put on weight," said one zoo employee.

Thanks to the love and care from the zoo workers, the cubs seem to be doing just fine. They are even practicing their roars.
