Clinton, Sanders, Kasich campaign in New York

Bernie Sanders is looking for a boost in the South Bronx with New York shaping up to be a key state in the Democratic Primary. The Vermont senator is hoping for an upset, but recent a Quinnipiac poll shows he trails Hillary Clinton by 12 points.

The former New York senator is spending a second consecutive day in the Empire State. Her campaign at SUNY Purchase was briefly interrupted by protestors.

On the other side, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump's controversial comments on abortion are still making an impact. An anti-Trump rally in Columbus Circle drew women's rights and immigration activists. The New York billionaire's campaign insisting he can still appeal to female voters.

GOP rivals are sensing an opening. Ohio Gov. John Kasich also campaigned in Manhattan earlier.
