Pope Francis Central Park procession

- Pope Francis will make a historic procession through Central Park during his first papal visit to the United States. On Friday, Sept. 25, between approximately 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., His Holiness is expected to greet the faithful as he travels in his motorcade along West Drive between 72nd St. and 60th St.

Ticketed guests must enter via an assigned security gate at 11 a.m. and no later than 3:30 p.m.

A ticket giveaway contest was held for the limited-space event. Winners were notified between Sept. 10-Sept 14.

Following the procession, the pontiff will travel to Madison Square Garden where he will officiate Mass. 

His Holiness departs for Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 26.
