Police: Man stabs straphangers with pen

Two people were taken to the hospital after they were stabbed on a subway train.

The incident took place on the Manhattan-bound A train coming from Howard Beach.  Witnesses say that a crazed, emotionally disturbed person stabbed two people with a pen.

The Emergency Service Unit was on scene.  The two people who were stabbed were taken to Jamaica Hospital.

The attacker was taken into custody and was taken for a psych evaluation. His name was not released.
