Cobb County police said they have linked a couple arrested for car burglary to a much more violent crime.

Stephanie Hogan and Dontavious Harris face multiple charges.

The two were originally arrested Wednesday on entering auto charges, but investigators have since linked the pair to an October shooting on Lakemont Drive in Marietta.

Police said Hogan convinced a man to meet her at that location using the mobile dating application Tinder.

When he arrived, police said armed men jumped him, stole his car and shot him multiple times.

Police arrested Hogan and Harris earlier this week after officers said they and three juveniles broke into cars in a number of parking lots all over Cobb County.

The two are being held at the Cobb County jail without bond,

Authorities said they are working to see if the two are connected to other crimes.
