Crew workers working on the Highway 53 bridge in northern Minnesota rescued a Golden Retriever last week that had gotten itself stuck in the construction debris.

The 12-year-old dog, named “Hat Trick” by her hockey-obsessed owners, had reportedly tried to climb down the rock wall before getting stuck behind the rock netting above the bridge in Virginia, Minn., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Crew workers spotted the dog after hearing rocks falling down the wall. The workers were unable to coax the dog from the wall, so a worker volunteered to retrieve her using a man lift.

The dog, called “Hatty” for short, was reunited with her family within half an hour after being rescued from the cliff.
