PATH service restored

Service on the PATH between Hoboken and 33rd St.; and Hoboken and the World Trade Center was back in service after a complete shutdown at about 7 a.m. on Friday. Crowds at the Hoboken PATH station were larger than normal as the trains started rolling again. Port Authority Officials said a broken rail was to blame for the disruption.

NJ Transit cross-honored PATH tickets system-wide until 9:30 a.m.
