Man stabbed in head with screwdriver in parking garage

A 29-year-old man was stabbed, twice, in the head with a screwdriver during an argument with his domestic partner in a Lincoln Center parking garage, according to the NYPD.

The assault happened shortly at 5:45 a.m. Thursday at the parking garage at 90 Amsterdam Avenue, about two blocks from the performing arts center.

The victim suffered two puncture wounds to the head and was listed in stable condition at Mt. Sinai-Roosevelt.

The 28-year-old suspect was taken into custody.   Charges were pending.  Police say the screwdriver was recovered.
