Outrage over more NYC violence

A rash of shootings hit New York City over the weekend into Monday. A cab driver was among the many victims. The worst incident was in the Ingersoll Houses in Brooklyn, where three people were shot and killed in a barrage of bullets just before 2 a.m. Sunday. Detectives believe one shooter is responsible, and that the suspect himself is a resident of the housing development.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said detectives have been working all weekend on the cases. He said they have uncovered a lot of information.

The triple murder has sparked outrage over gun violence. But Commissioner William Bratton emphasized that the violence over the weekend was a spike that happens from time to time. He vowed that each and every murder will be treated the same.
