Obama to break with tradition during NYC visit

When President Barack Obama makes his way to New York City on Friday, he'll be breaking with tradition.

Obama will not be staying at the famous Waldorf Astoria on Park Ave., the first President to do so in recent memory.

There are fears the famed suite may have been bugged after it was sold to a Beijing insurance company last year for $2B. The hotel is about to undergo a major renovation that is raising eyebrows in Washington.

Instead, the Commander-in-Chief will be staying at 1 UN New York near the United Nations on the East Side.

Obama will be arriving in NYC at about 5 p.m. and will attend a fundraiser. On Saturday, he will attend a Broadway matinee followed by a trip to the Hamptons.

Helicopter restrictions to the Hamptons will be in place.
