NJ residents not happy Christie endorsing Trump

The newest political bro-mance is now official.  Governor Chris Christie made good on his endorsement of Republican front runner Donald Trump and was warming up the crowds at rallies in the south for the New York billionaire.

The Garden State Governor's decision head back to the campaign trail leaving some residents in his home state a bit frustrated.

“It's like more than disappointing, it's like I regret moving to NJ" one resident told us.

A registered republican we spoke to, voted for Chris Christie in the last two elections, However now he says he just doesn’t trust Governor Christie.

"He left the state, he abandoned the state for his own political aspirations."

Former Republican Governor Christine Todd Whitman was quoted as saying she's "ashamed" of Christie's decision to support Trump..
Outrage seemed to be linked to Mr. Trump's controversial comments about Muslim's nationwide and in New Jersey.

Some wonder if the governor's sagging approval ratings in New Jersey are behind the reason he made the move to endorse Trump.

"I think he's wheeling and dealing. He's trying to move up in life I guess” another NJ resident said.

And for the rest of Governor Christie's schedule over the weekend, his press office is referring all questions to the Donald Trump Presidential Campaign.
