Nick Cannon hosts show for St. Mary's kids

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - In the eyes of Hollywood, Nick Cannon is an actor, producer and host. But to the kids of St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children, he's so much more than that. Cannon pulled out all the stops in Times Square Thursday evening to give his friends at St. Mary's a night they'll never forget.

Fox 5 was on the red carpet for the annual benefit concert, chatting with Cannon, who has remained a tireless champion for the kids. The father of two and ex-husband of Mariah Carey brought mom as his date to the special affair.

He also enlisted the help of some famous friends like Nelly who performed a few of his classics. Nelly and Cannon also collaborate on BET's hilarious fake reality show "The Real Husbands of Hollywood."
