(AP) - Construction crews will start hanging the cables for the new Tappan Zee Bridge in July.

The Journal News says the cables will extend from the bridge's eight 419-foot towers and support the road deck.

The $3.9 billion bridge between Westchester and Rockland counties is expected to be completed in 2018.
