A New Jersey high schooler is in critical condition after a Times Square motorist moved down pedestrians in Times Square on Thursday.

According to the New York Daily News, Jessica Williams was weeks away from her prom and graduation from Dunellen High School in New Jersey.

Williams went to Times Square for Senior Skip Day when Richard Rojas slammed into pedestrians.

She is now hospitalized in critical condition. Her cousin, Nicole Guild, set up a GoFundMe page for Williams’ recovery.

“Her spleen was removed yesterday and the damage to her face was stitched up today. Her leg is still broken and will require surgery at a later time,” wrote Guild.

“She is strong, she is a fighter, and she will pull through this,” she continued.

The GoFundMe page has since reached over $12,000 in donations.

Richard Rojas has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Alyssa Elsman and 20 counts of attempted murder.
