New 'Fifty Shades' book coming in November

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - A new installment to the Fifty Shades of Grey erotica book series is coming.

Darker is a retelling of the trilogy's second book, Fifty Shades Darker, through the eyes of the character Christian Grey rather than Anastasia Steele.

Author E L James said in a statement that the book will give readers a "darker and more haunted" take on the leading man.

Darker: Fifty Shades Darker as Told by Christian drops November 28, 2017, according to Vintage Books.

The film Fifty Shades Freed, based on the third book in the original trilogy, is set to premiere in February 2018. It stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.
