Nationwide Sleep Out To Support Covenant House Youth

Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman, Six-Time Tony Winner Audra McDonald and many others will be joining 700 businesses, sports and entertainment leaders in the Nationwide Sleep Out To Support Covenant House Youth.

There will be a Candlelight Vigil in Times Square on Thursday followed by the Sleep Out. 

Here are details on both: 

Covenant House Vigil will take place Thursday from 6-7 pm. It will be held from 6-7 pm on Nov. 19th in Times Square, prior to the Sleep Out. Brian Cashman will be speaking. This year the Yankees gave $25,000 in support of Brian's sleep out and six time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will perform

At the vigil there will be hundreds of Covenant House youth raising candles with hundreds more supporters in memory of children who have lost their lives on the streets and to raise awareness for the thousands of young people who need help off the streets

Covenant House Sleep Out  7 pm Thursday through 6 am Friday morning

-- In addition to this Executive Edition, there have been sleep outs by Broadway stars, young professionals, Mothers, and individual companies.  So anyone can sleep out!
