More eyes on Nicki Minaj wax figure

Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas says it is taking extra precautions to ensure inappropriate photos do not continue to be taken with the new wax figure of singer Nicki Minaj.

Of the many racy photos posted on social media after the figure was unveiled earlier this month, one in particular seems to be getting lots of attention.

Minaj is scantily clad and on all fours in the display and a man is kneeled behind her.

Various other photos show visitors in uncompromising positions with the wax figure.

A statement posted online by Madame Tussauds Las Vegas reads:

"We have been aware of the inappropriate photograph that was taken at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas... our visitors are generally respectful towards the wax figure.... We apologize for any offense (sp) this has caused... We are taking immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area."

According to the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas website, the wax figure took nearly six months to create by more than 20 artists. It was inspired by Minaj's popular "Anaconda" video.
