The NYPD arrested two Brooklyn men in connection with a fight and fatal shooting inside a Target store in Downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday night.

Police said that Carlton Spencer, 25, was found late Wednesday night on the second floor of the Target store with a gunshot wound in his chest. He died at Brooklyn Hospital.

Spencer was reportedly among a group of several men, one of whom was armed with a large knife or machete, who chased another man into the mall.

The man being chased, Bobby Jackson, 44, then turned and shot Spencer, police said, according to the New York Post. The group pursued Jackson out of the store and allegedly assaulted him, the Post reported.

Officers responding to the mayhem recovered a handgun and soon detained Jackson and several other men.

Authorities have charged Jackson with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, reckless endangerment, menacing, and unlawful possession of marijuana, the NYPD said.

Gregory Kimble, 26, faces reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon, assault, and menacing charges, police said.

Police said that the investigation remains ongoing. More arrests and charges are expected.
